The business was founded in 1983 by Richard Schilstra in Dunnville, serving mostly the local areas of Haldimand & Niagara with custom house plans, addition plans & garage plans. Today, we are a bustling & growing design firm owned by Jason Schilstra (Richard’s son) serving the entire province of Ontario with hundred’s of custom house plans being completed each year. At Rijus Home Design we employ a six member team of dedicated, talented and educated architectural designers who provide a personal creative experience for each client and make the process easy and fun.
