Season Update #4: It's Getting Cold Outside
First, kudos to all our kids for their great play on the weekend! Finalists in the Port Dover tournament. We certainly have our way with spoiling the host teams plans with upsets in Paris and Port Dover, which is a testament to the hard work our boys put in when they are focused.
That said, it's getting cold outside, which means the heart of the season is approaching.
With the heart of the season comes maximizing our potential and working hard as a team game in, game out, practice in, practice out. Attention to detail, focus, playing positions, moving the puck, and hard work are all the signatures of what makes teams improve as they move through the schedule looking to peak at the playoffs.
Stay hydrated.
Eat well.
Stay healthy.
Come to the rink fully prepared, ready to go. Put in the best effort at practice. Support your teammates. Laugh and have fun!
When we go out of town, I hear a lot of people talk about our 11... "you guys only have 11 kids?"... Well I've seen enough so far to know that this 11, at their full potential, are all we need!
