The Dunnville Mudcats U11 team delivered an outstanding performance from start to finish, dominating their way to a well-earned tournament championship.
The Mudcats came out firing in Game #1 against Mariposa Thunder, setting the tone early with a commanding 12–0 victory. Strong offensive pressure and solid defensive play kept their opponents off the scoreboard while showcasing the team’s depth and energy.
In Game #2, Dunnville faced OCHL Stevenson and continued their winning ways with a 6–2 result. The Mudcats maintained control throughout the game, combining consistent scoring with dependable goaltending to secure their second straight win.
Game #3 saw the Mudcats take on the South Muskoka Bears, where they once again proved too strong, earning a decisive 7–1 victory. Their confidence and teamwork were evident, as they executed plays effectively at both ends of the ice.
Advancing to the championship game, Dunnville met a tough opponent in OCHL Rossland. In their closest contest of the tournament, the Mudcats showed resilience and determination, battling hard in a tightly contested game. With clutch plays and steady composure, they edged out a 3–2 win to capture the championship title.
