Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) – Dressing Room Policy
Effective: February 1, 2024
The Ontario Hockey Federation’s Dressing Room Policy ensures a safe, inclusive,
and respectful environment for all participants across member associations.

Key Points
- Participants must have access to dressing rooms or equivalent changing spaces that respect their
gender identity, religious beliefs, body-image concerns, or individual comfort.
- Minimum attire requirement: coverage of buttocks and genitalia, and for those with breasts, the chest area.
(Ideal coverage is neck to waist and upper thighs.)
- Rule of Two: When minors are present, at least two screened adults (team officials/volunteers) must be supervising
(inside the room or at an open/ajar door) as per safeguarding standards.
- Privacy and accommodation requests will be handled confidentially by team/association officials.
