Are you passionate about hockey and ready to make a difference in your community? DMHA is now accepting coaching applications for the upcoming season, and we’re looking for dedicated individuals who want to inspire, lead, and grow the game at the grassroots level.
Whether you’re a seasoned coach or someone looking to get started, we welcome applicants of all experience levels. Coaching minor hockey is an incredibly rewarding way to stay involved in the sport, build leadership skills, and help young athletes build confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.
This season, we need coaches at every level:
-
U5/U6 (Initiation) – Our youngest skaters need fun, patient leaders to introduce them to the game
-
U7 (Timbits) – Help these energetic kids build their first real hockey skills
-
U8 and U9 (Transition to full-ice) – Teach the fundamentals and guide their development
-
U11 and U13 – Support growing players as they take on more competition and teamwork
-
U15 and U18 – Mentor teens as they build character, commitment, and leadership through sport
Whether you’re available to coach full-time or help as an assistant, we need people who are willing to step up and make sure every team has someone in their corner. Parents, guardians, former players, community members—your experience matters, and your involvement is what keeps minor hockey alive in Dunnville.
No coach means no team. Without volunteers, we risk delays in team formation or worse, the inability to offer full programming to our youth. Don’t let that happen. Be the reason a team gets to hit the ice this fall.
You won’t be doing this alone—and the difference you make will last long after the final whistle.
Apply now and be part of something bigger. Our Mudcats are counting on you.
