AMALGAMATION NAMING DEADLINE EXTENDED
Submitted By Tom Flatt on Thu 03 24, 22
New Deadline is March 29th.

One of the next steps with the Amalgamation is to come up with a nickname and team colours for the Haldimand Minor Hockey Association rep teams potentially beginning in the 2022-23 season and we’re asking for your suggestions.

There are a couple of guidelines we have to follow:
- The colours cannot be the same as any colours from the original centres (Dunnville, Caledonia, Cayuga).
- The nickname cannot include any references to the original centres’ names.
- The new nickname cannot reference anything inappropriate for youth sports

Other than that, the sky’s the limit!

Your submissions should include both the nickname and the colour combination you would like to see on the jerseys and teamwear.

Submissions can be made via the online HNHA Nickname & Team Colours Suggestions form. Deadline for entries is noon, Tuesday, March 29, 2022.After the deadline, each centre will bring their submissions to the new Haldimand Minor Hockey Board where a number of finalists will be chosen. The finalists will then be revealed to the membership where a vote will take place to choose the successful HMHA nickname and new colours.

We thank you for your participation in this process!

Mudcats Nation, Our U18 numbers are low, too low for a team one would say. Other centres are hoping we don't have a team because of our HLL Champion U15 player's that have moved up to U18.  They think we would join them should we fold!
