AMENDED NEW COVID ENTER ARENA PROTOCOLS----ATTENTION
ATTENTION Parents/Players/Officials/Guardians & Visiting Teams,

AS OF DECEMBER 20TH, MONDAY
Please note that effective immediately, provincial regulations restricting food/beverages in sport venues are in place. No food or beverages will be permitted into the arena facilities, with the exception of water bottles for on-ice sport participants.  This includes bringing in outside food/drink for parents, spectators, volunteers, etc.

Exemption ends for, showing proof of vaccination for children 12-17 years old, UNLESS YOU WERE BORN IN 2010 (YOU WILL ONLY NEED TO SHOW ID PROVING DATE OF BIRTH TO BE EXEMPT) participating in organized sport effective Monday, December 20.  MEANING ALL PARTICIPANTS (players, coaches, officials, executives, off ice officials, volunteers, etc) will have to show QR code proof of vaccination + 14 days with ID.

Therefore, County staff will be required to check for QR code proof of vaccination (2 doses + 14 days) and personal identification for all participants (players home & including visiting teams), including those previously exempt or under vaccine mandates from their governing bodies starting December 20.

AS OF JANUARY 4, MONDAY

Please note that effective January 4, 2022, Haldimand County staff will contact trace, screen and check vaccination status (where required) for all individuals entering the arena. Permit holders or Convenor or team screeners, will no longer have to contact trace or have a delegate at the arena to complete this process.

All persons entering the Arena will be required to check in and 1-screen online by using the Haldimand County website and here is the link to the FORM and it is also available on a DMHA website frontpage BANNER near the top. The screening can be completed online prior to attending the arena or completed once at the arena by utilizing the posted QR code. Once the online form is completed patrons can save, and present to facility staff the checkmark (note-at the time of this article the Contact Tracing Form did not return a 'Checkmark' icon to me....only a message asking you to 'screenshot' the confirmation) confirming the screening has been completed and passed. In addition to screening patrons must also 2-present their QR code for proof of vaccination+14 days, along with 3-personal identification to staff.  Please note that everyone 12 years of age and older will now be required to show proof of vaccination and personal identification, even those engaged in organized sport, as of December 20.

Please make this article available to everyone effected by the changes to help Arena Entry stay as smooth as possible.

Thanks
