COUNTY VACCINE EXEMPTIONS AFTER SEPT 22 BEFORE THE OMHA OCT.31 DEADLINE
County Message below, in essence;
-if you don't have all your coaching & volunteer pertinent courses, police check and are registered with DMHA as an official, coach or volunteer you are not exempt from being double vax'd +14days as of Sept.22 and if you are exempt it does not exempt you as a spectator. The County is still working on the proper resolution that follows the Provincial guidelines and this may change by the 22nd.  So we urge any helper's to complete courses and police checks ASAP!

Hello Everyone,

The County is still gathering and reviewing information on  potential vaccine status exemptions for officials, coaches and volunteers entering arenas.  Pending a final decision, in the interim please be aware that the officials, coaches and volunteers will be exempt and have access to the facility without proof of vaccination status when entering the facility for the sole purpose of actively supporting the scheduled game, practice or skating session.  The exemption does not apply at any other time (ie. as a spectator, private rentals, etc.).

Also, only volunteers that are registered with your organization and that have completed all applicable training, vulnerable sector criminal reference checks where applicable and are covered under your association’s liability insurance would be exempt.  It does not include anyone offering to volunteer without the usual documentation in place (ie. parent’s tying skates, etc.).
