REFEREEING UPDATE
Thank you to all the young people and their parents, in our community, reaching out to want to be a Ref.

Unfortunately Hockey Canada and the OMHA have shut down any entry level courses for referees until further notice. For the future, you would have to be 14 to take any course once they start up again. If you are still interested at that time and finished the course we would be willing to start you off Officiating. Hope this answers all your questions in that regard.

A Message from the Ice Scheduler;

"There is nothing more disappointing than having to cancel a game.  We all work hard to get to the point of and look forward to the 'Games'; the coaches, the parents, the volunteers and the refs.  We all took Respect in Sport and in life or sport everyone deserves respect; coaches, volunteers, your players, teachers, bosses, managers, grandparents and yes GAME OFFICIALS.  Please respect the couple we have or guess what, no games, because you can't have a game without a trained referee who is doing this important role, in our community, out of the love of the game and the best interest's of our youth."
