!!!NEW SEASON IS HERE!!!
Welcome to the 2020-2021 Season! It is going to definitely going to be a different year, but we are excited all the same to see Dunnville kids getting active with Hockey again.
Watch for online Registration in the coming days. Here you will also be able to complete any parent applicable requirements for Respect in Sport and/or Rowan's Law.
Caledonia Open Skate Ice Schedule is up. Participating in the Open Skate has some requirements;
Note that this information may change at anytime and please refer back to it periodically.
Your player or goalie must be registered for the season to participate;
Players and goalies must wear masks until they put their helmets on;
A maximum of forty (40) participants (including skaters, coaches/trainers and referees) will be allowed on the ice at one time;
Screening will take place upon entering the Arena. Participants will be able to enter no more than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled rental time and must leave within 15 minutes after the rental;
Anyone entering the Arena and moving throughout the facility must wear a mask;
Directional floor stickers and signage will be posted throughout the facility;
Participants must arrive at the Arena wearing their equipment (with the exception of skates and—in the case of goalies—pads);
Chairs will be set up outside of the ice pad for putting on skates, and participants must use the same chair for the duration of the rental;
Change rooms will not be available for use unless they are required to accommodate overflow of participants (e.g. if not enough chairs can be made available, as noted above);
Limited washroom facilities will be available for use;
One (1) parent/guardian per skater will be allowed in the facility; no exceptions. The parent/guardian may remain in the designated seating area during the rental. Unfortunately parents are not able to bring siblings into the arena. This has to be strictly adhered to in order to for consistency across all users and to ensure we do not exceed maximum capacities in the facility. One parent/guardian can attend with each participant.;
We are required to submit a roster of those individuals participating and any coaches/trainers, there will be 4 Coaches each session and that will allow for 36 players and goalies, if we go above our maximum, only the first 36 of players and goalies that have registered with the Registrar for the year will be able to use the open ice and the rest will be on a stand by list if one of the first 36 can't make the skate (please immediately let the session coach(es) know you are not coming so we can allow a stand by to attend);
so that others can attend in your child's place;
Water filling stations or taps will not be available; please bring your own filled water bottle(s); No coloured beverages (e.g. Gatorade) are allowed on or near the ice;
