U15 UNCONTESTED CHAMPIONS!

Just before 2pm saw the start of the day's final Dunnville entry of the HLL Championship Saturday as the second half juggernaut MUDCATS were the home team against the Hwy#3 rivals, the STARS from Cayuga.
With their usual bravado, this Motley Crew of a MUDCAT team was still getting dressed as the Glanbrook Zamboni made it's final pass on the ice.
The days tilt saw CORONA taking the pipes as his goaltending partner FLATT took the D door.
There was little doubt of the outcome as LOUKS potted one 23 seconds in on a feed from CAMPBELL. The rest of the first saw Dunnville toy with it's prey and was only able to get the score up to 2 Zip.
The MUDCATS buried the STARS in the 2nd with 4 more tallies chasing the Cayuga netminder from the game. In usual fashion, while Dunnville was picking meat out of their teeth with toothpicks, CORONA had to make some stellar saves as FLATT & himself have had to do all year. Cayuga did muster a couple goals, but the blaring STARS fans horns only woke up the slumbering CATS.
With over overwhelming D pressure and puck carrying, with wave after wave of solid Offensive lines the MUDCATS just passed around the STARS and easily cruised thru the 3rd for a decisive 7 to 2 win with 2 from LOUKS, 2 from CAMPBELL (52 on the year), 2 from BACKUS & a rifle of a goal from LIPSON.
Congrats to the U15B HLL Champion Players, Coach Justin HOOVER and staff on a great year.
